The WEIGHT4Wellness Weight Management Program is a five session program designed to address the key components of weight removal in an effective and efficient manor. The table below outlines the specific sessions which make up this program.
 

Session One

Introduction: In Part 1 of Session 1, “Intake Interview and Introduction to the WEIGHT4Wellness Weight Management Program,” you’ll have an interview with your practitioner and get an overview of our program. You will then be asked to create your own short-term and long-term goals, and to make a commitment to your improved health. 

Reframing/NLP: In Part 2 of Session 1, “Reframing Compulsive Eating,” you’ll complete a process to examine some of your unconscious motives behind overeating. In addition, the various assignments will help you examine the difference between “Trim-Slim Thinking versus Fat Thinking.”

Session Objectives: Program Overview, Review Health & Wellness Survey, and Discuss Realistic Goal Setting Stratages

Session Two

Emotional Eating (Management of Stress): Part 1 of Session 2, “Stopping Emotional Eating with Stress Management,” teaches you stress management tools to curb the eating for comfort that sometimes accompanies stress. “Stress Management and Emotional Eating,” discusses ways to stress-proof your life, manage stress in healthy ways, and reverse the habit of emotional eating. Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapy will be used to restore the communication between the conscious and subconscious mind for healthy weight removal.

Self-Hypnosis Training: In Part 2of Session 2, “Training in Self-Hypnosis,” you’ll learn the basics of self-hypnosis. You will also gain the tools necessary to help you design your own self-hypnosis sessions.

Session Objectives: Emotions & Eating, Advanced Clinical Hypnosis, and  Self-Hypnosis Training or Pre-made CD

Session Three*

Nutrition: Part 1 of Session 3, “Making Sensible Food Choices,” focuses on choosing healthful, nutritious, slenderizing foods. Review the results from your Nutrition Symptom Survey and the Daily Food Intake, Physical Activity, Emotions and Energy Log will help to improve your nutritional habits.

Part 2 of Session 3, “Creating an Intelligent Relationship with Food,” encourages you to eat when you are hungry and stop eating when you are full. Some of the included activities will teach you a step-by-step process to incorporate NLP thinking for "Slender Eating."

Session Objectives: Review Basics of Nutrition and review your Daily Food Intake Log

Session Four*

Physical Activity/Exercise: In Session 4, “Boosting Motivation to Exercise,” is a session designed to rev up your motivation to exercise. During this session you will be introduced to the beneficial uses of the pedometer for monitoring your daily physical activity level. Together, we will also establish an aerobic exercise and muscular endurance program that will address your current fitness level while gradually moving you toward your optimal health and wellness. You will receive all of the necessary information to begin a safe, healthy exercise program.

Session Five*

Putting It All Together: In Session 5, “Pulling It All Together for Lasting Results,” is a session that encourages you to take your mindset into the future so that the lifestyle changes you’ve made are lasting. 

While this is designed to be your last session, many chose to follow-up these foundational sessions with our “maintenance” program. During the maintenance program, we continue to follow your progress and intervene as necessary to assure that you remain on track. The decision to continue our program in a maintenance mode is often based upon how much weight you desire to remove and the degree of accountability that you desire throughout the remainder of your weight removal period.

Session Objectives: Review of Program and Planning for Challenges & Success

Maintenance

After Session 5, you may want to return for additional follow-up sessions with your practitioner, to work through any other issues that may be interfering with the success you seek. You might want to talk about relationships, limiting beliefs, self-esteem, work-related problems, time management, relationships, or perhaps family-related concerns—anything that will help you reduce stress, love yourself, and maintain your progress.

 

*Please note that you will be expected to remove a minimum of 6 pounds by Session 3, Session 4, and Session 5 (for a total of 18 pounds). This is very reasonable and, for most individuals, the required eighteen pounds removal will be accomplished by Session 3. With this pattern of proven success, you will have demonstrated the skills necessary to continue the program toward your ideal weight.

 

The task you are about to undertake requires your commitment  and should not be taken lightly. It is time-consuming and life-changing. You are worth it. You have what it takes. Now, believe in yourself and see the results!
